It’s the week of Independence Day here in the US, and while it’s become known as “The 4th of July,” I prefer to call the holiday by the formal name in order to acknowledge the meaning of the day. I grew up in Philadelphia where much of the founding of the US took place, so I have a special place in my heart for this holiday.
